“We had a fantastic stay at Apartment Funchal in Barreiros, Madeira. As a sporty couple, we loved having such a comfortable and premium-quality apartment as our base for exploring the island. The apartment is beautifully designed, spacious and finished to a high standard. We particularly enjoyed the huge balcony with beautiful views, well-equipped kitchen and fast Wi-Fi. The rooftop swimming pool was another great bonus. The location is excellent. It is close to Quinta Magnólia, where we enjoyed playing padel. It was also easy to start day trips to Madeira’s hiking trails, or city strolls. Apartment Funchal is a perfect holiday apartment for active travellers who appreciate comfort, style and premium quality. We highly recommend it and would love to return!”

“A fantastic stay in Funchal! The highlight was the huge balcony offering lovely views of the hills and ocean. The bedroom was wonderfully cozy with a very comfortable mattress, opening directly onto the balcony. The location in Barreiros is excellent—it is quiet, yet central enough to put you right near the action. It’s within easy walking distance to the city center, with plenty of nearby restaurants and accessible hiking spots. Plus, taking an Uber back only cost around €5, so there’s no need for a rental car. Highly recommended!”

The location is also top-notch: there are plenty of fun things to do in the area within walking distance, and the shopping center is also easily accessible on foot. “A must-see on Madeira! We had a wonderful time in this beautiful apartment during the second week of September. You truly want for nothing here; the property is equipped with every luxury. The beds are fantastic and have lovely pillows, ensuring a good night’s sleep. With two bathrooms and two toilets, you have plenty of space and privacy. The kitchen is nice and spacious, and there is more than enough room to store all your belongings and clothes in the large wardrobes. From the lovely balcony, you can enjoy a stunning view of the sea. As the icing on the cake, you can also cool off in the rooftop pool. The apartment is located in a nice, reasonably central neighborhood. You can reach the city in no time, and there are plenty of cozy restaurants and bars nearby. We recommend this stay to everyone and would love to return here again soon!”
